I'll stamp all over 'credible fighter' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.

British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.

Ex two-time world boxing king Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's venue on December 19th.

Fighter's Mindset

"I'm going to injure his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35, stated.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."

Civil Interaction

In spite of such comments, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally known for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Opponent

Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.

Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.

He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.

Financial Attraction

Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's biggest money-making draws, regularly earning massive paydays.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.

"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.

Size Disparity

As both boxers participated in the customary face-off, with their size difference on show, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the match is truly proceeding.
